How to Powerwash a Chromebook

A Chromebook needs to be reset.

Powerwashing is similar to a 'Factory Reset', but on Chinook devices, they are still managed by us after resetting.

All data will be removed from the Chromebook. This will not affect data stored in Google Drive.
Powerwash (Factory reset) your Chromebook
- Sign out of your Chromebook.
- Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R.
- Select Restart.
- In the box that appears, select Powerwash
Continue.
- Connect to 'chinook' wireless network.
- Follow the remaining steps until you get back to the normal login screen.
